Teletouristic system consists of drone tricopter and storage capsule with stationary observation capabilities to deliver an alternative way of travelling and experiencing the world, bypass variety of problems and inconveniences associated with traditional way of travelling, including: lack of financial resources, long flights, quarantine, physical restrictions, planning and many more. Also could help reduce physical tourism therefore reduce its side effects. Teletouristic system might be the only way to create an opportunity to (tele)travel for those who can not due to physical disability, lack of resources, personal commitments or those who wish to visit places which are extremely difficult to reach. System is mounted on vertical surfaces (poles, street lights, walls etc.), therefore provides a high vantage point to observe the environment without need of flying, saves ground space, is out of sight, is difficult to reach, and therefore vandalism resistant. Several capsules can be stacked vertically, thus saving even more space. There is an additional mount for operating capsules on horizontal surfaces (vehicle roofs, ground etc.). Drone is equipped with a ring of cameras which are used for both image capturing and for stereo vision obstacle avoidance systems. Users access a teletouristic system from their home through a personal virtual reality environment. Content is streamed to the headset in 180 degree stereo 3d format. System is connected and controlled through a mobile 5G network. There are two modes of flying : pre-programmed routes or free flight. After the flight, the drone autonomously returns to the base capsule and automatically lands while being guided by navigational LEDs located inside the capsule.
