PROJECT SCOPE - Interior project solutions consist of four main parts: existing historical layers, new construction interventions, newly designed functional objects and works of art. SPATIAL SOLUTIONS - The aim is to structure the existing space and form clear functional areas. A clearly defined structural element - a wall, divides the space into two parts, according to their purpose - public, and private. Active features in the public space - living room, kitchen, dining room. Private - bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobe. MATERIALS - The project uses three materials - historic bricks, steel, and new bricks. Moderate and time-tested materials were chosen to reveal the expressive, multi-layered character of the historic brick masonry. COLLECTION OF WORKS OF ART - The project features significant, contemporary works by artists. Selected artists are vivid reflections of contemporary Lithuanian work: Mindaugas Navakas, Pakui Hardware, Andrius Erminas.
