SHIVER is a play of two materials – smooth, shivering silk and completely the opposite, hard and fragile ceramics. These objects embody the choreography of fluttering fire and silk. This is a handmade ceramic vessel with a soy wax candle inside. After the candle is burned, the vessel becomes a vase or a container for small things. The SHIVER candles were designed for the Immix clothing brand. One of the materials that the brand likes to work with is silk, a luxurious material with a long history, wonderful aesthetics and also beneficial to the human body. The shiny silk drapes of these Immix clothes were the main inspiration for SHIVER’s aesthetics, as well as for its scent. It is an object for which touch and smell play an important role.
