"Pod" is a woven sculptural object inspired by the author's childhood drawing, which can be filled with objects you want. "Pod" is based on the principles of children's creativity, with the aim of emphasising the importance of inner freedom. It is made using Lithuanian sinew twigs with no additional fasteners, so that it can be safely biodegraded at the end of its life cycle. The object is handmade, imperfect and unique in its own way, blurring the boundaries between design and sculptural art in its appearance and functionality. The unconventional use of weave is a reminder of the importance of respecting one's culture and the increasingly undervalued traditional crafts.
