The representational showroom of the Lithuanian mattress and bedroom furniture manufacturer LONAS in Vilnius is located in a new commercial zone that was a former Soviet military area. The showroom is set up in a unique two-storey space. The product display and material testing zone, located on the first floor, focus on showcasing the produced items and their properties. The second floor is a coworking space for employees and clients. A lot of attention was dedicated to the materials. We used sustainable and innovative materials – recycled foam rubber, recycled rubber, linen thread, second-hand plywood. Recycled materials build a more responsible consumer culture. This is particularly significant for a manufacturing company. The use of recycled materials highlights a manufacturer's sustainable approach to reducing production waste, in all of the LONAS group companies.
