When submitting an application I agree that visual material and descriptions of the submitted design object (except contact information) will be used for communication purposes.
I confirm that I am the author of the design object or legal representative of the author.

Overview
The Lithuanian Design Prize aims to introduce innovative, high-quality new products and professional Lithuanian and foreign designers to the public. The contest also aims to create an additional motivation for entrepreneurs to use design services right from the beginning of the product development cycle. Recognition of well designed products and services would allow companies using good design and their designers to create a competitive advantage not only in home market, but also globally.
Categories
Design objects might be submitted in 10 categories:
Furniture and lightning - chairs, tables, upholstered furniture, shelves, lamps, etc.
Interior - already finished private or public interior project.
Interior elements - home decor items, tableware, ceramics, textiles, mirrors and more.
Concept - an unfinished project, a prototype, a design object of the future that is not yet possible to produce.
Costume design - one costume or collection might be provided.
Publication - Books, brochures, catalogs, calendars, notebooks and other publications.
Fashion accessories - jewelry, handbags, shoes, accessories.
Paslaugų ir socialinis dizainas - interneto svetainės, mobilios aplikacijos, paslaugų efektyvumo didinimo projektai, socialiniai projektai.
Product / Industrial Design - home appliances, household items, vehicles, industrial production machines, automotive, electronic appliances.
Visual identity - packaging, corporate identity (letterheads, business cards, etc.), logos, fonts and other visual communication elements.
There are three nominees in each category, which are assigned the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places after the final jury evaluation round.
Additionally, one design piece is awarded as the audience favorite, which is elected through anonymous online voting.
The objects submitted for the competition should be already manufactured and easily reproduced. Unrealized projects fall into the concept category, where the idea of the project and its suitability for realization are evaluated.
There is no limit to the number of participants per category.
One design object might be assigned only to one category.
Conditions
Applications for the competition are open to designers working in Lithuania (citizens of any country) and companies operating in Lithuania.
Works completed (created or launched) during the two years preceding the competition (2018-2019) will be evaluated.
Participation in the competition is free of charge.
By submitting a work for the competition, the participant undertakes responsibility to provide the opportunity to exhibit it free of charge at the winners' exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad.

Application and evaluation procedures
The application for the Good Design Award is submitted electronically on the contest website www.dizainoprizas.lt.
The objects submitted for the competition are evaluated by an international jury.
Awards
The winners of the competition will be announced and awarded during the official awards ceremony in Vilnius.
The winners of the competition are awarded with prizes or diplomas. Also, all winners of the competition are entitled to use the "Good Design" mark in their communications. The winning designs and their creators will then be featured in the media, in the printed competition catalog, on the website www.dizainoprizas.lt, and will be exhibited at a special exhibition of the winners' works during the DESIGN WEEK festival. The winners of the competition have the opportunity to participate in other projects organized by the Association Design Forum and to present their works both in Lithuania and abroad.
