WHAT’S YOUR PLAN B? Communication Tool

Every year in Lithuania, 30 people die while waiting for an organ transplant. At least 400 people are constantly waiting for a transplant, while around 150 transplants are carried out each year. This topic is relevant not only locally but globally. The message is about the will of a dead person to allow his or her organs and tissues to be used in this way. The question is why family members experience fear, mistrust of doctors and the feeling that they have become owners of the body of someone close to them. This project considers which design tools can be used for the appropriate and acceptable form of communication for a donor’s will. We are always ready to receive, but are we eager to give?
